7 best cheese stuffed chicken breast recipes you can make easily
Cheese stuffed chicken breast is a stuffing recipe that can be made either with cooked or uncooked bread. The precooking of the bread makes for an easier cooking process and a greater chance the cheese will not leak out of the chicken breast. The cheese should be well-grated or cubed to create an even coating. The cubes won’t melt as readily as grated, though larger pieces make for less chance of leakage. When using pre-cooked bread, it is important to let it cool after cooking so it does not steam when added to the hot filling mixture. Here are recipes for cheese-stuffed chicken breast that you can make at home.

Tips & tricks
- Let the breast cool after cooking before removing it from the plastic wrap.
- Grate cheese as soon as you start to cook, and not minutes before because it will lose its stretchability and be difficult to mash.
- For a pre-cooked bread: Cut into small pieces, place on a baking sheet, and freeze until firm (about 10-15 minutes). Once frozen, place in your choice of plastic bag or freezer-safe container. To use, remove from the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before cooking with the chicken breast to allow the bread to warm up a bit just slightly without burning. - For bread cooked directly in the oven: Lay the bread out on a baking sheet or clean the work surface. Place the cold chicken breast on top and let sit there until a few minutes before you plan to cook. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Bake for about 20 minutes, until the chicken is done.
- If grating your own cheese, save it in a zipper bag for up to 5 days in the fridge. That way you won’t have to grate everything at once every time you make this dish. [give intro write about disguised food].

- It’s best to keep the cheese-covered until it’s time to eat, or it will get cold and hard to handle (unless your having it for breakfast). If the cheese is not sealed tightly, however, steam will escape and the flavor will be lost when you cut into it (that’s why I don’t make two batches at once).

Mozzarella cheese stuffed chicken breast
Cheese stuffed chicken breast recipes are one of my favorite foods to make. I love that you can take a chicken breast, put just about anything in it, and still have a decent amount of chicken taste in the end. Most of these recipes can be made both for breakfast or as a side dish and are easy to make as a family meal. Some of these delicious dishes can even be adapted for a vegetarian version.
For example, it is easy to put spinach in the filling instead of chicken, make it with tofu instead of chicken, and use chickpeas or other beans in its place. There are also all different combinations of cheese and spinach that you could use in place of the other ingredients.
